Coach Lynnette’s Bio should go under STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING after the description.
Lynnette Kennedy
With over 20 years of experience as a competitive athlete and performance coach, I bring a results-driven, real-life approach to training athletes and everyday individuals alike. My background spans bodybuilding, functional fitness, Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, Muay Thai, grappling, and tactical fitness—many of which I still actively compete in today.
I have been part of the CrossFit Games leadership team since 2009, serving in multiple high-level roles including Scoring Lead and Director positions since 2017. My experience also includes serving as CF Northeast Regional Competition Director, Scoring Director, and Judges Coordinator, along with Scoring Director for the Madrid Championships and leadership roles at the Masters Fitness Championships and WheelWOD Adaptive Games. Through these experiences, I’ve developed and managed competition systems at the highest level of performance sport.
Professionally, I’ve managed multi-location gym operations across Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida, including one of Connecticut’s largest MMA facilities. I’ve also opened, built, and sold my own gym, and later owned and operated a full-service wellness center in Florida. This facility integrated chiropractic care, physical therapy, massage therapy, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), general physician services, PRP, and prolotherapy—giving me a complete understanding of performance, recovery, and long-term health.
As a coach, my philosophy is rooted in sustainability, performance, and individualized progression. I understand that not everyone is an athlete—but everyone deserves to train like one. My system focuses on building strong, resilient, and capable individuals through smart programming, proper movement, and long-term development—not quick fixes.
